Good morning on the day after snow and rain. The sun is out, the birds are happy, and we've got errands to run. We have been going around and around about things to take with us, with particular interests in taking supplies for a school Jamie spent time at in Port Harcourt. But it has been difficult to know what sorts of things the school needs, and locating those sorts of things at reasonable prices (and reasonable weights!) remains a challenge. Speaking of challenges, does anyone out there work for a place that might have a stash of promotional mousepads? Eight - ten were specificvally requested, but I have had difficulty finding a 50 cent piece of foam for under $10. So if anyone has a source please let me know. I'll tell them the pads are from you! Monica, the school contact and Jamie's friend, also asked about stickers as little recognition awards for kids. So what can we find stateside in that vein? Hanna Montana, Bratz, Barbie, Spongebob. Says something about seperation of school and commerce. Same story about balsa / foam airplanes. I thought that might be a good boy's prize - but almost all I have found come preprinted with camo or little bombs. Oh well. If anyone has ideas, drop a note. We would love the input.
We are off to town. The trip is looming ever closer ....
Jim
